Hi! This card was made for today's Clean And Simple Challenge: Monochromatic Card.
I'm still trying to catch up on my Christmas Cards. I have been thinking about coloring this poinsettia blue ever since I saw a blue one in the window of my favorite florist last season.
The image was stamped in Cote d' Azure. Next, I sponged in Cote d' Azure sponging heavily in the center and lighter at the petals. This gave a variation in color and a deep color concentration around the berries/seeds.
The sentiment was stamped in Cote d' Azure.
Only 2 layers, too!
Finished card size: 5" square
Total time to complete: 9 minutes

This is so striking the way you have painted the flower, faith!

Gorgeous blue that cote d'azure, Faith. Hope you're getting all caught up. Your pointsettia is perfect--do you have a special someone with a blue decor in mind?!!
