Well, Cindy is back with a fun mission for the teapotters. We are to go to Blackhawk CO. to help Ms. White add some color to her house and life before she runs away from the all black and white world Mr. White has put them in.
I scouted out the area, (that's why I'm late) and found out that Ms. White isn't the only one tired of the dismal manse. The neighbors are also fed up and they are ready to help the teapotters make a change. So with all that avail. help, I decided to call the DIY network and request Jason to bring his Desperate Landscape to town. And not just because I love to watch him flex his biceps either....(oh, is it hot in here....) *snort*...
So he came with all his power tools and heavy equipment and we set to work. Jason decided that we should leave some remnants of black so ole Blacken wouldn't die of shock when he came home from work, so the roof and the window trim stayed. After Ms. White returned from the paint shopping, we set to work painting the rest of the trim nice white, the house a lovely shade of sky blue. Then we dug up the weeds and put in sod, gravel path, decorative grasses, picket fence, painted and put up window boxes and planted them with bright flowers and planted a lovely shade tree in front.
Whew, all this was hard work and the teapotters are surely ready for the goodies and tea that Blanca promised. And the neighbors are all going home happy that they can look out their windows and see a nice vision now.
