I was inspired by today's Ways to Use it challenge to make a card using a hammered leaf print, which is a craft that I did with the first graders in my son's class!
You take a leaf from the tree (fall color and not dry!), lay it on a piece of unbleached muslin fabric and use a hammer to tap out the color onto the fabric! It is so easy and so cool to see the color from the leaf come out. I tried it on cardstock, but the results were not the same. So, I made the print on fabric, cut it out, glued it down to the cardstock and added gold dots with a paint pen!
