I haven't done a Mojo sketch in quite awhile and I finally got to this last sketch. I made a masculine card to send to my brother who is going through difficult personal times right now. I thought this verse might be helpful to him.
It's nice to take a little break from Christmas cards; however, it would also be nice not to have to send this to my brother if you know what I mean. But, we all grow and learn through difficult times, so I try to look at it in that light rather than the negative one.
I used my fav SU dsp paper for masculine cards, To The Nines, paired with Sahara Sand and chocolate chip card stock. I used the distressed stripes ef on the panel beind the verse and on the chocolate chip band that runs horizontally. I didn't want to use a ribbon on masculine card, so I thought using the distressed stripes on card stock would work well. I popped up the embossed panel, the verse panel and cross on dimensionals. Added 3 metal brads and it was done. Still seems like it's missing something, but being masculine, I didn't want to "pretty" it up too much!!! LOL!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and if you have a chance, let me know what you think!

This is just gorgeous, Pam! The monochromatic tones and masculine paper are wonderful. I'm sorry to read about your brother and I pray things will work out for him.

Pam, this is fabulous! I really struggle with masculine cards, but this one is perfect! Your brother will love it and that you took the time to make it special for him...at this difficult time. He'll cherish that and know that you are praying and caring for him too...means so much! Hugs, Pam!

Pam, I'm so sorry that your brother is going through a rough time. I'm sure he will appreciate not only this card, but the thoughts and feelings behind it. Wonderful use of the sketch, colour and paper. Love the charm too.

Fruitcake....... I am so sorry for the difficulties that your brother and sister in law are encountering right now. What a blessing for them that they have you to pray for them - encourage them, and create such a beautiful card!! It's simply gorgeous. Your brother is so blessed to have you!

Great masculine card! Love all your layers and the Nines DP - very elegant. And the cross and scripture are the perfect thing for a not-so-perfect situation. Prayers to your brother and his very kind sister.
