All your collage cards are lovely. Would you mind sharing a little info about how you did the interesting surfaces? This one looks crackled, but there are lots of things going on with all of these!

Thanks for your comment.
There are several layers. For this one I first cut out pieces of my 2.5x3.5 cardstock and inked/distressed/stamped each. Then i adhered them to a backing layer.
I did some hand sewing. Then added a layer of crackle paint (clear). let that dry for a good day. ink over it with more ink to highlight the cracks.
Then I embellished on top.
On the edges I first glued down some micro beads for texture. Have to let that dry well. then versamarked edges and added copper/bronze embossing powder. you can brush off the powder where you don't want it and where you want to make it more sparse. then heat it with a heat gun.
Finally I inked it around the edges with black in to distress it more.
I added a third backing layer for density and thickness. Let it all set and dry for another day... and you're done!
I also love to use black lava, gesso, all kinds of alcohol inks (great for dying metals and more!). I love the tim holtz ideas. I especially love to use his grunge paper. It's 12x12" sheets of grunge paper that you can cut any way you wish. You can die cut it, ink it... and it's nearly indestructible.
HOpe that helps!
The other house atcs are mostly grunge paper and oil pastels on old book pages.
