Wonderful sketch! And a great chance to show y'all a sneak peek from Innovative Stamp Creations. These images are from the Let it Bloom sheet to be released on Friday, Sept 11.
I stamped all three sizes of the flowers on white and also on turquoise textured c/s w/ the black ink. I added just a hint of color on the white blooms w/ a pale aqua gray marker then cut them all out. The white bg was spritzed w/ water, placed on an embossing mat w/ a piece of vinyl mesh on top then run thru my embossing machine. It adds such great texture to plain c/s.
I stamped a row of the blooms down the side of a piece of the turquoise c/s and cut around the edge. the black bg was done w/ the painted grid technique from the TLC challenge on 8/24/09. I took some drywall mesh, wrapped around my brayer, rolled across a paper plate w/ white acrylic paint on it and rolled across the black c/s creating this great grid.
The sentiment was die cut using a tag from Spellbinders. I used the same aqua gray marker to swipe across it. Everything was assembled and a few more layers added, then black stickles was added to the flower centers. Finished card is 5.5 x 4.25 (A2).
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them
