This is my card for today's Ways To Use It Challenge - to use variegated color for our creation.
It is also for this week's Color Challenge on Paper Craft Planet (PCP Color 31) which was to use shades of pink as the focal color. Finally it is for Gina's Technique Challenge on StampTV which was to ink up a CB folder to create a background.
I inked my CB folder with multiple colors to get a variegated background. I used variegated DP to create a lace panel and added tiny pearls. I stamped the gardenia image twice with Memento Rich Cocoa onto Gina K 80 lb. White and colored them with Copics. I cut out one flower and popped it up over the other. The image panels were cut with Labels Four Nesties and popped up on foam tape.
Thanks, Julia, for the fun challenge and TFL!

I never would have thought to ink a CB folder to variegate a card, but this is a beautiful result from that technique! I love the little pearls along the bottom, and the pretty flower set on the layered diecuts as your main image!

Oh my gosh Carla, this is beautiful!! At first I thought that was some sort of dp. What a cool job you did of inking up the cb folder with multiple colors. Your card turned out lovely.
