Thanks to EllenH's awesome gift at Convention (Gallery at Splitcoaststampers, my Mom was begging for a fancy clipboard of her own! Here's my first attempt.
I used Making Memories acrylic paint to basecoat the clipboard, and stamped on top of it with Craft & petal point inks. Painted roses with craft ink, drybrushed with craft ink, and then went back in with black petal point chalk ink to do the black splatters & her name.
Also used black stazon to do edges and some swipes on the inside, too.
Hint from Ellen: You can take WHITE acrylic paint, and tint with reinkers to custom match your cardstock and ink! Thanks, Ellen!

I love it! If I had the right inks, I'd be making my classroom clipboards a little cuter. (Not fancy... they're middle-schoolers! I can only imagine what they would look like after a month!)

Wowzers! Might have to CASE this one lock, stock, and barrel, esp. since my Mom's name is Debbie! I'd love to see the original inspiration too - got a link???
MM paint is making memories brand acrylic paint. Ellen shared that you can actually save some $ and get perfect matches to SU by buying white paint, and tinting with our reinkers! Whoo hoo! Paint in our 48 colors!
