This is my submission for this month's WishRAK Monthly Card Contest - Category #2 - Christmas in July. We were to make a Christmas card with some sort of texture.
Lucky for me, Meisu4 granted my wish for these great images. She stamped these gorgeous Christmas trees with Handsome Hunter and Old Olive ink onto Kraft cs. I ran the panel with the Handsome Hunter trees through my Big Shot with SU's Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate. I then gently smeared with my White Craft Ink Pad across the raised dots to color them and make them into falling snow. I did the same to the Kraft cs edges. Next I added the Old Olive tree with Dimensionals. For its star, I used a clear rhinestone from the Pretties Kit. This panel is adhered to the Old Olive card base with more Dimensionals.
To add even more texture, I tore the edges on three scraps of Whisper White cs, added Dazzling Diamonds with my Two-Way Glue Pen to the edges and layered them under the trees to resemble snow banks. Finally, I added the sentiment with my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig and Basic Black ink.
