This week's Limited Supplies Challenge was a "follow the list" one. Requirements were to use only colors of water (any shade of blue, green, gray) and sand; at least 2 brads; ribbon, fiber, or twine; piercing. I also wanted to include Sharon Johnson's (notimetostamp) Stamp Simply challenge to use half circles in the layout. In addition to the "requirements" I also used a couple of jumbo eyelets.
If the colors were to be "water" colors, why not use "water" paper -- thus the DP on the half circles. The lighthouse is paper-pieced with some DP that looks like rock. I normally would have used some yellow for the light; but, because of the color limitations, I used a white gel pen instead.
