This card is for a little group of twisted sisters that have a stamping challenge each week. This week's challenge was to create a card from Pat Smether's gallery..
Pat was the very first person on SCS to pm me. We started chatting about this image. I had told her it reminded me of when my daughter was in her teens she showed horses. The next week these images arrived in my mailbox. Pat is the sweetest, kindest most faithful person I have ever met. Her heart is pure and true... It was a pleasure and an honor to case a card of yours.
Love ya Pat....mean it.....

Wow, is this ever awesome, Dawn! Your coloring of these images is wonderful, and I love the gingham ribbon with the heart button. I have never met Pat, but I have the same sense about her as you do. She just seems so genuine. I like how you wrote it: her heart is pure and true. What a wonderful honor the Twisted Sisters have given to her. You know what? I also sense that you possess the very same qualities, and I mean that very sincerely.

Dawn, this is fabulous. Your coloring is way over the top, I love that shading. You chose perfect colors for this and I like the ribbon/button embellishment. What a tribute to Pat, she will cry when she reads this because it is so sweet. She is exactly the way you have described her.

what a treasure, Dawn, and a story from the heart! Isn't it wonderful how in this vast world, the Lord can unite hearts. I love the way you colored this dear image and the rustic accents! The wooden button with the heart adds to the depth of your art. Awesome
