Oh, this is so not what I had envisioned. I really wanted to make a more masculine card today. I failed - femininity just kept butting in! Oh well, I like the result. I'll have to do masculine at a later date.
I used a bit of the happiness background stamp as my main image. I used a lot of cuttlebug embossing folder Diamonds in the Rough for texture on this card. I distressed the edges of the one red layer with my freakishly strong wolverine fingernails. lol I seem to be reaching for red, black and white a lot lately. It's a good combo, how can I say no? And I didn't even use clear embossing powder this time! Now that is a shock! Thanks for looking.

I also love this color combo..can't beat it. Really like that wonderful cb folder you used. Love this card!

Karen, I think this is a perfect card. I think that the colors are strong and fitting and the sentiment not too mushy. I think you succeeded in your attempt to make a masculine card.

Love how you carried that diamond theme on your card in the embossing and in the stamp. Super card. Don't we surprise ourselves where our creativity ends up leading us.
