Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Bandanna/Bandana Technique.
Ever since I saw this sentiment in the She's a Lady set by There She Goes, I KNEW I was going to team it with a ladybug! I love ladybugs! They eat aphids. Aphids each my Gardenias! Gardenias are my favorite flower! I can't keep a Gardenia alive in my garden. Between the aphids and the white flies, they are toast! I wish I had MORE ladybugs! Now, with most of the nurseries in our area out of business, ( I love Home Depot and Lowes, but they killed the little guys), it is difficult to get them, unless we get them mail order. We live in the city, and the city sprays for mosquitoes. This kills the ladybugs, but NOT the aphids!
I used some of my VERY LAST rub-ons for the background. They were completely black. I addded EVERYTHING that is white, (in the background), with a Signo Pen!
The leaf stem is a Sizzix die cut. The flowers are Martha Stewart Punches. The ladybug is made with 1 1" black circle, 1 1" red circle cut in half and a 3/4" black circle with 3/8" cut OFF. I made the antennae by slicing black card stock with my Tonic cutter.

SOOOO CUTE! I love Lady Bugs too! Gardenias grow very well in Southern CA- at least they did where I used to live. Here in the desert of AZ, not much grows besides cactus! How I miss flowers. Your flower garden (story about prom night photos) sounds beautiful!
