Measurements including black borders: Green panel - 2 1/8, saffron layer - 2 5/8” wide, image panel 2 1/8” x 4”, red circle 1 3/8”
-The designer paper on the base has a crackle design on the edges only so to match it up on the other three edges after cutting the proper size I stamped with Cracked Montana Earth.
-The green panel was ink distressed and tool distressed after stamping.
- The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps for blending; same technique as Gamsol, just substituting baby oil for Gamsol
-I used the out of the box technique for the image. This works great if you have a guillotine style cutter by marking the image on the back while holding to a light source. Cut to the image on the front, flip it over and cut to the mark on the back. To cut between the image lines I use a Coluzzle template with their craft knife.
-The saffron panel is ink distressed, bordered in black and mounted on foam tape. To keep the sentiment circle even on the card the left side is layered on the same black and white you see the right side resting on.
NOTE: this is the sentiment put out for this kitty image so I used it...while I giggled thru the card making process knowing what this kitty has in mind for those fish!
Accessories: The Paper Studio - Spare Parts red brads, Prismacolor pencils, baby oil, paper stumps, Nestabilites for circles, sponge, Tonic paper perforator for tool distressing, cutting scissors, Coluzzle template and craft knife
Techniques: Out of the box, Prismacolor, ink distressing, tool distressing, dry embossing/Nestabilities
