Some time ago I stamped and coloured all the Flower for All Seasons images, planning to use them on a waterfall card. I didn't use them, so now the last one is used up and will no longer turn up every time I tidy my desk. I turned my desk upside down yesterday looking for some little pears for Cindy's tea-party, so when I saw the sketch today, I thought - Bingo.
The base is A2 black card. The next layer is K&Co Christmas paper, trimmed just a fraction smaller than the base, and edged in gold. The next layer is some paper I've had for too many years - black, with carols in gold writing. I punched the corners, once I'd decided to use the Hodgepodge Hardware.
The small square is green Bazzill debossed with the Floral Fantasy folder and wiped with a gold ink pad. Then the stamped image, which was black Versafine on watercolour paper, clear EP and H2Os to colour. I sponged it with some distress inks - Peeled Paint, Antique Linen and Walnut Stain.
The sentiment is from a See-D's set, stamped with black on the green Bazzill. I pressed the hardware into my gold pad and embossed it with gold EP, and used burgundy organza ribbon tied through it to add a bow.
Great sketch, today - I wasn't feeling very inspired and the sketch made it easy.
