This is a complicated card. I think I went through about five processes to get to the effect I wanted for the background. It's Moonshadow and Glitz Spritz (to name a few) and I added crystal effects, beads and wire. I also used SU colored pencils and metallic pencils

Oh my, this is gorgeous! I have no idea how you did this, but it is spectacular! The way the colors in the background work together and how it really looks like water, just amazing!

I'm speechless. Dazzled. Awed. I don't think anybody will ever CASE this card because it's a real work of art, and you are a true artist! Now I'm off to see what else is in your gallery - bet there's lots to ooh and aah over!

OMGosh!!! You didn't go into too much detail, but the results speak for you!! It looks to abalone shell!!! **WOW**!!!! Is that the moonshadow mist that helps give it that effect, or some other product? What an *AMAZING* card!! I certainly hope that you'll frame this *GORGEOUS* piece of art for your wall!! Thanks for sharing your creation! ~ Kaylyn

Here's the recipe: First emboss image in black on glossy cardstock. I made a whole sheet of 8-1/2 x 11. Color in the fish with SU metallic pencils and SU pure color pencils. Then brayer with the Caribbean Spectrum pad for a good base of green/blue. The next step uses MoonShadow Mist (I used aqua). It's mixed with walnut ink and it puddles and looks brown when you start out. It will puddle over the fish design in some places so I used a paper towel to dab up the excess so it didn't interfere with the design. Then I use the heat tool to move around the puddles and dry it out so the iridescent aqua comes to the surface. It's gorgeous. I did this twice to get an appropriate tone. Then I used MoonGlow Glitz Spritz (similar to hairspray and pearlex) in Royal Blue Lapis over the top for that incandescent sheen that you can't see in the photo. I glued on a few iridescent clear beads to look like bubbles, added the string of beads (adhered with Crystal Effects), and as a final touch, I added random drops of "water" with crystal effects. I let it dry overnight and then put it on black cardstock. Not exactly simple, but just a matter of layers and patience.

Your ARTWORK is beautiful!!!!!! I have not heard of moonglow spritz or shadows. I did a google search, to get some more info. Where did you get yours? And where did you hear about them? Also do you think perfect pearls might have similar effects? I really love what you did with them. Dina
