This card is made for the His Holy Name Challenge and the Devine Design Bible Verses Challenge....I just love combing this love of mine with the scripture verses...another love my mine...in the HHN challenges we are studying the attributes of God...this one is Almighty....
I have chosen this scripture as it speaks of God being Almighty from the beginning to the end - what a relief that is to me...in this day and age everything has a 'use by date' but not God....He is there until the end...as is nothing else, or no one else that can assure and promise us this....but our God!!! Making this card with this scripture just reminded me and reassured me....I need to do this more often....I sure won't find that assurance on the TV or in the shopping centre...LOL!!!
I have tried to make this card with strong colours and texture, in keeping with the AlMIGHTY attribute of God...I used this great DP that Hannah(aka bubblefrog) gave me last week. The key is an old one I found in a button jar that DH got at a Garage Sale (Yard Sale) years ago. The ticket is distressed and I wrote the scripture on by hand, which never thrills me as I feel it lets the card down, but I know many of you feel differently, so I let myself be influenced by your opinions....
I also wanted ALMIGHTY to be highlighted so added the hand stamp, 3Ding that and the compass....the final touch is the eyelets.....so there you have it.....!!!
Thank you for looking, I am always encouraged by your comments!

Absolutely beautiful...both your card and scripture. Your handwriting is perfect, infact, it looks like it should be made into a stamp !!! Super job on the challenges

Linda, this is fabulous! I love everything about it, especially your handwriting! Your analogy of God vs. the "use by date" is perfect. God always was and always is. Period! TFS your card and your heart!

Linda, your beautiful card holds so much meaning! The DP made me think of 'the measure of a man', and how we can never measure up, but keep going toward the goal of pleasing the Father. The key is also meaningful to me in that His word is the key to life. You have made me smile, (and get my face back into the Word, where it belongs!) Your handwriting adds such a special touch too- another of God's gifts, being used to point others to the truth. Love you...
