The Clean and Simple stamping style (hey, can you say that 10 times in a row, lol) is very challenging for me, but it's the look that I wanted for this sympathy card. I went searching for inspiration, and found it in Miss Boo's CAS challenge!!!
Thanks so much for the CAS, I'll be playing along as often as I can! This card has a naturals ivory base, and is overlayed with ivory vellum. The main image is stamped with olive Stazon onto torn ivory vellum, and colored just a bit with watercolor pencils. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Grey, and used naturals ivory and basic grey cs to mat. The butterfly is embossed with silver on ivory vellum. I used silver cord and a couple of eyelets to hold the vellum in place.
Thanks so much for looking!!

This is a beautiful card. I understand about CAS, I too have a horrible time getting this kind of card. I always add too much I know less is more but I can't figure it out when it comes to cards sometimes... Yours is just lovely...tfs

Very, very pretty Darla! I love the look of velum on a card and this turned out so elegant. This is a good one girlfriend. I need to work more on the clean and simple look too. Maybe I should take part in this challenge! TFS
