This is for today's LSC - use green (extra points for DSP), no more than 3 layers, no more than 2 embellishments. Eek!
Well the green wasn't a problem - just got this pack of DSP from SU and wanted to use it to make a man's card. Layers and embellishment limits are always a problem for me!! I was a little cheeky and added 'faux' layers using a marker - so it looks like I have more layers than I actually do! Any Choc Chip layers you see are drawn on... lol!
Main image was rock and rolled with Really Rust and Choc Chip then a jumbo eyelet was fixed in the middle. This is on Confetti white to add to the rustic look. Added faux stitching on the Really Rust layer.
Greeting was achieved by selectively inking the 'thank' with CC and stamping on the cardstock then inking 'U' with Old Olive on Confetti White and cutting out and layering on card with glue dots.
I'm quite pleased with this one - I don't know whether the ribbon makes it too pretty for a guy's card though... what do you think??
TFL!

Really nice card! And I'm way impressed with all the techniques you used to keep it "limited supplies". I'm going to have to try that faux layer technique! It still adds dimension but saves on the paper! Nice one!
