My super wonderful sister sent me this image in my happy box this weekend. I couldn't wait to color it. Today's challenge was soooo much fun and worked so well with this mustang don't you think? ......details.....
I saw this page of gorgeous birch trees with snow in a Coldwater Creek Catalog. I knew I could never come close to recreating this scene so I decided to make a copy of it. I was inspired to do this by MariLynn who is always using her wonderful talents and her computer to make fantastic dp. So I printed it out on cs, then cut it up for my mosaic bg.
It is amazing how when you try to put the pieces that you so carefully cut and laid out proper, back together. Yikes! With a little patience I was able to make my mosaic bg. I first ran my cs through the xyron machine to make it sticky then proceeded with making the mosaic. I eb with black ep and sponged the edges with tea dye. Layered with black cs.
Colored this wonderful mustang that my sister stamped for me, using prisma pencils and gamsol blending. Sponged the edges with tea dye, paper pierced one corner. Layered this with black cs.
Put my bg on a white card that I sponged and doodled the edges. Then I popped up my mustang panel. Well, what do you think?.......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Thanks for this wonderful image!
