Perk sent me some adorable snowman images, and I left them in a spot that was easily accessable for this week's challenge. But, easily accessable to me also meant easily accessable to my little guy, who claimed them for himself! It's not the first time he's done this, and they always turn up, but they didn't turn up in time for the challenge today!
So, now where are all my snowman stamps? They aren't under the bed, or in the closet, and then I remembered that a friend had borrowed them to make some coasters! AAAh!
It was too late to cry "SEND SNOWMEN SISTAHS!!"
Anyway, I had the snowman wheel out to do the Christmas Card Challenge for January, and here is the card by jeweleintn that inspired it! Cotton Snow by jeweleintn at Splitcoaststampers
I made a few changes to my card to make it qualify (sort of) for the TSC!
There are snowmen (and snowwomen!), there's embossing, and snowflakes!
Perk, thanks so much for the adorable images that I didn't get to use today, but I promise they will turn up!!!
Thanks for the great challenge today, and thanks for looking everyone!

Well, it certainly looks like you recovered very nicely from your lost snowman dilemma. The wheel worked out very good, I don't know that I have ever seen this wheel, it is cute. I like the way you worked with the flower behind the snowflake, too. Very pretty and you now have one less Christmas card to make this year.

Wow Darla! If ever a card was 'completely cute', this is it! I love how the lil snow people are all lined up on that curve! Fancy stampin'! Your snowflake within the flower is beautiful, and oh! I love that ribbon! I think the 'topper' is the embossed scalloped circle. Wonderful addition to the SC sistah! And glad to see how you 'recovered' from the set back! lol- my two boys are 28 and 30. I do remember 'those' days, and fondly too!

WOW, Darla! Look at the way those snowmen curve! I am so challenged when it comes to stamping with a wheel, much less getting it to do THIS! You rock, girlie!
