Hi!This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Tacky Glitter.
I'm having issues with Speedy the Cat today...I made a card earlier, and the cat was fine...Then, about 45 minutes ago, he pitched a fit in my scrap bin! Scraps EVERY WHERE!!! So, I started picking them up and found small pieces of designer paper...Hmm.....LOL!
So, I cut out these seahorses and star fish from my new Cuttlebug die. Next, I ran the seahorses through the crimper and sponged them. I ran the starfish through the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. The sand dollar is a Martha Stewart punch. I cut out the seaweed with a Sizzix die.
The "clam bed" is HEARTS from There She Goes! I also used the sentiment and the envelope from that set.
The Glitter background was made by laying down Tacky Tape on card stock and pouring different colored glitters on the lines. Then, I sponged on color! WOW! My ink pad looked like it took a bath in GLITTER !LOL! I used masking tape to wipe the glitter off.

This is stunning! I love how you're using your embossing folders and crimper to give texture to everything! Beautiful choice of colors too! I may need to check out those Cuttlebug dies... they are too cute!

It looks great, a lovely underwater setting for those seahorses. And the colours are so great together, like your IC card. But after your description, I sure am glad that for once I used forethought and chalked my background BEFORE I did the glitter.
Clam bed, well - now I know what that is in the Pink Cat Studio set. You'll have to forgive me - no clams over here, and most shellfish you do see are farmed on ropes. Thanks for teaching me something new .
