1. Meet Bridget the Wanna-Bee Butterfly. Bridget has always been a little on the hefty side. She's not quite a yellow jacket but bigger than a honey bee. She just doesn't fit in!
2. Bridget's had a hard time finding a man. She's become infatuated with a beautifully colored, strikingly handsome and buff butterfly by the name of Bart.
3. She thought by changing her appearance to be more butterfly oriented she might grab his attention. And she did! Last Week! When she installed her new wings (shaped like a butterfly) and crashed into the scarecrow cuz her aerodynamics were compromised!
4. The butterflies are fluttering and flitting all around cuz let's face it, everyone has a crush on Bart!
5. The bees are buzzing and bombing all around cuz let's face it, Bridget is an embarrassment to the hive and the Queen is livid!
6. And Bart the Butterfly? Well, he's laying low as he prepares for a long flight to another state yet to be determined!
What can I say, this awesome Basic Grey Urban Prairie designer paper inspired the card and the story cuz its got little bees and butterflies all over it in the coolest patterns! It also worked well on myStinker Schmircate Card sometime back!

I don't know when your card went up, sorry I missed it yesterday, cuz I would've been the first to leave a comment. Why, because my first boyfriend in fourth grade was named, Bart! But alas we had to move far away from him, so that one got away...snicker. I even made up a farewell song, it is going through my head right now.
"I love you dear Bart from afar,
I love you dear Bart from afar,
I love you dear Bart from afar,
Dear Bart from afar I love you."
Yes, after that little ditty came out, I was asked to write songs for lots of people, but by then, my songs were all dried up due to this broken heart.
So, I hope that Bridget has much better luck with her Bart...she is too cute for words, and a lot skinnier than I was in fourth grade!!
Thanks for the wonderful story today and cute cute card...I love that paper too Cindy!
