Congratulations Dawn on being this weeks featured stamper.... You have such an amazing gallery, I loved looking at all your beautiful cards....
I chose to case this lovely card - "Cardinal Christmas" CC184, Cardinal Christmas by flowergal36 at Splitcoaststampers
I didn't have the same cardinal stamp as hers - but I do have this cute, fluffy little cardinal stamp ( I think he's fluffed his feathers up because it cold and snowy out)
I changed the stamp, colours, made mine a square card. I kept the same Christmas theme.
Cardinal image is stamped on watercolour paperwith stazon jet black, coloured with reinkers. I cut the bird out and popped it up on a square piece of WC which I had run through the cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder. I added the MS branches. Applied puffy white paint and stickles to the branches and raised CB dots. Matted with handsome hunter and ruby red. Stitched around edges. Main card is 5 x 5 ruby red, next handsome hunter then the dp - sponged edges with ruby red, sewed around edges. Stamped sentiment in ruby red on WC paper, cut out with oval nestability, sponged edge, matted with scalloped handsome hunter scalloped oval. Applied puffy white paint and stickles. Tied on the plaid ribbon.

Love the plaid ribbon against this rich sweet bird, Pat. The bg paper is wonderful and WOW, great use of the branch punch. Love the authentic little bits of snow you've added.
