Thanks to Val, Cindy and Julie for some awesome ideas I incorporated in to this card. The dictionary background was inspired by Val and Cindy.
The clock is duct tape I have had sitting around since seeing a Tim Holtz special and hadn't used - Julie inspired me to get it out and use it!!! Yeh - I know the hands and time are backwards, but I just loved the effect. It is distressed with Pumpkin and Black Staz-on - this helps the "image" pop. I leave the backing on to help the image stay in place because this tape is so maleable. The metal on the left is just a paper clasp that I stamped on with Staz-on and also distressed with both colors of Staz-on. In my excitement to get it done I rubbed the time image and so it disappeared some. Lesson learned - let it dry first. The gingham ribbon was just rubbed over the artichoke pad to color it.

Ellen, I tried the duct tape as well, with shapes and shadows and mine didn't look very good at all.(you can see it, it's in the gallery) You on the other had nailed it. I will have to try again you've inspired me to pull out the tape and work with it.
