Dear Kristi,
My heart goes out to you. I lost my Best Friend and Uncle on Thanksgiving evening. He was my world. As your heart is empty right now, someday it will be filled again the the loving memories of years gone by and you will smile again when a memory tickles your thoughts. From NH I share your loss.

Kristi,
I haven't been on the site for awhile and just read of your father's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I know what it is like to lose someone, especially around the holidays. My father passed on 12/13/89, 3 days after my birthday and before Christmas. Just know that as time goes on your sorrow will be joined with all the great memories that you have and it will begin to get easier.

Just wanted you to know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. No one can understand the depth of such a loss until one experiences it on one's own--I lost my Dad to cancer almost 7 years ago, so I do understand somewhat the feelings you must be experiencing. I hope that you will be able to take comfort in your memories of great times spent together, and hold on to the fact that you are so loved by everyone around you.

It's hard to see now but there will come a time when you can talk about the good times and not have a catch in your voice or a tear in your eye.
God bless you and your family.
