The moment I saw this felt wrap: Forums at Splitcoaststampers, I thought of Charlie Horse lying in the leaves. Instead of wasting time looking for a leaf stamp, I carved this one out. On to the details......................
It is our anniversary later this month, so my DH always buys cards for the kids and me. It is sort of a family day. He really comes up with some good ones I might add. Today he couldn't resist showing me the cards. He goes "look, this guy signs and dates his cards just like you!". He is usually telling me how crazy I am for having soooooo many stamps and making all these cards! BUT today, I was compared to an artist. Oh yeah!
Well for this little card I stamped the leaves in different colors on a panel of vanilla cs. I doodled a few of them. Sponged the edges w/peeled paint.
On w/c paper I stamped and clear ep Charlie and his leaves. Colored with reinkers then versa marked and clear eb. Cut it out using my oval coluzzle, sponged bashful blue and doodled the edges.
Popped this up over the leaf panel and then put it all on a white card sponged shabby shutters and doodled edges.
Stamped and clear eb the sentiment, added a gem, punched it out with the word punch and glued it on. I also added a few more leaves that I stamped and clear eb, some I doodled on. Well, there you have it.....hope you like it......TFL :0)

This is such a happy, wonderful card! It just reminds me of being a kid and playing in the leaf pile. (Let's just forget the one big leaf pile I kicked when I was about 8. It had a cement block in the middle and I broke a couple of toes, lol.). I love your fall card, Cathy. Really wonderful!
