I was so pleased when I saw Julia's challenge when I got home from work.
I couldn't do the TLC on Monday, because I didn't have the right sort of corner punch. In the end I remembered one that did have edge guides that were removable - and this is what I ended up with, LOL. No medallion...
Anyway, I'd spent a bit of time cutting the circle and carefully spacing the fleur de lys around it evenly, so I wasn't going to throw it out. I painted it with some blue acrylic and sprinkled it lightly with pale green glitter and left it on the desk.
So today I stamped the base card, metallic dark blue, with Soft Holly in Versamark and scraped some blue chalk pastel over. Then I used my new (first!!) Nestabilities that arrived yesterday and cut it from gold card. Then I embossed it with snowflakes, and then embossed the edges. I coloured the Flower for All Seasons with H2Os and a bit of Stickles for the centres of the poinsettias. I distressed my organza bow with the heat gun and that was it.
