Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Yesterday was election day, so that meant that I was working at an election site for 15 hours, straight. It also meant that Mark had to take a day off from work to watch our sickie, Markie. Poor Markie has been ill for 3 days, and Speedy the Cat has done his best to entertain him!
I don't know if Speedy the Cat thought Markie might want to stamp, or he was trying to get him to get ME to stamp, but Speedy the Cat kept bringing Mark and Markie stamp sets yesterday while I was gone! Markie said that he felt so guilty, that he made a card for Speedy the Cat! LOL!
The image was stamped three times. The first image was colored with a Real Red marker and blended with an aqua painter. The other two images were colored with and Old Olive marker and blended with an aqua painter. (I colored the middle with an Apricot Appeal marker.) I cut out the images and cut various leaves from the green ones to create the "layered" look.
The Bow was stamped in Real Red. To get a more "real" feel to it, I ran the tip of the aqua painter over the stamped image to get a feeling of depth.(This image is a silhouette.) Next, I cut it out and outlined it with a Chocolate Chip marker.

I just love your cards... I love the way your flower/ribbon embellishments just look natural and don't take away from the design... I just haven't gotten that down yet!!
