Wow, what a fun technique challenge: Stair Step Fold!
I just got a SU order Friday that included the Little Felt Flurries die cut snowflakes. Now we don't get much snow here at the beach, but I can't say I've ever seen a red snowflake. Nor have I seen a snowman surfing. But these unlikely events seemed to belong together, so I went with it! I got a little carried away, where to start?
The card is on folded Baja Breeze, the waves are on cuttledbugged Soft Sky (white craft ink was applied to the folder when I embossed it for another project). I also used cutting dies for the blue bayou swirls added to the back of the waves, as well as for the paper snowflakes. The Shellebrate tree and surfing snowman are colored with markers; liquid pearls added to the hats. The sky background is rolled back a bit so that the top of the tree does not touch it. TFL!

Maybe this snowman is surfing in the Arctic swells! ;-)
I love the fun energy of your card....I wouldn't have thought to cut out the swirls, great job!!!
