Love this color combo! I made my little scene while my DD baked some awesome chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. She had to take her car in, so I picked her up and she is visiting until it is done. So, when she is here, she bakes. Maybe because she is a baker in real life, I don't know. But those cookies are smelling delicious! Hope I don't get any smudges on my card! LOL......details.....
On a white panel, drew my hills, and large bushes, then stamped my tree and rock n roll stamped my owl. Colored the tree and bushes w/re-inkers. Stippled the grass and stamped some fallen leaves that were also colored w/re-inkers. Took a larger panel and continued my scene.
Sponged edges with the chocolate chip INK, not cookies. Layered the smaller panel with a larger panel that I sponged and doodled the edges. Lightly sponge the sky tangerine tango and I cheated a little by using soft sky.
On the larger panel, I sponged the edges and then heavily sponged the sky area. Did faux stitching in the corners. Put this on a white card that I sponged the edges and doodled too.
Rock n rolled the sentiment, even tho you can't tell, cut it out w/word punch sponging edges. Put it on a panel sponged w/kiwi kiss and did faux stitching on edges Added the silver bling.
Popped the sentiment up on the card and went and had a cookie!!!! LOL.......hope you like this little scene! ......TFL :0)

Hi Nutmeg, chocolate chip peanut butter cookies also make double chins LOL! They sound fantastic I have to say, I've never tried that combination. Your card is superb and I see you've really taken to drawing on your cards which is so wonderful as are your drawings. I love how you continued the scene on the second panel and the colours are beautiful. It makes me think of all our trees here which are now turning all of these colours. Beautiful card.
