This is for today's sketch challenge, as well as a double dare challenge issued by Beestamper (aka Beverly) to make a masculine card using a twig. The twig could be real or a stamped image. I chose to clip a twig from one of our White Spruce trees. I made this a Christmas card for my sweet DH. That's why this lady penguin is wearing lipstick (something I never go without) and holding a heart-shaped ornament embossed in gold. I used striped dp and the houndstooth embossing folder to add to the masculine look of the card.
I stamped the pinecone in Close to Cocoa and thumped it with my Chocolate Chip marker and stamped off the image three times. I then added some stamped pine branches.
TFL!

Charlene, this is wonderful! I'm sorry your tree had to suffer for the card, but....whatever! I love the lipstick on the penguin, and the repeating hearts! (Personally, I haven't worn any makeup, including lip stuff in 13 years...my flashes are so bad the stuff runs down my face!! You can get used to ALMOSt anything..LOL)

Lipstick...don't leave home without it! This penguin is so ready to give a smooch Charlene,I doubt you'll be leaving home after giving it to DH! Your houndstooth is so fun with this, and the branch, what a cool embellishment!!
