Jami issued another challenge to the current and former Dirty Girls this month: Where did all the layers go?!
Challenge Focus: Create a NO LAYER card any size, any color. Your card base is it - no additional layers of cardstock or designer paper at all.
Required Element: Masking - use masking or reverse masking in some way to create your design.
Restricted Element: No use of the color pink (any shade).
**
I used masking for my trees and the snow (which, as I was laying in bed last night, realized should *not* have been blue - when was the last time I saw blue snow?! I don't think so!). I also masked my stamp when I omitted the star from the top of each tree.

Thanks for looking!

Silly girl! The blue works perfect as shadow and gives it depth and dimension!
I say: PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!

oh man, just a few days left to preorder and now you are making me want this stamp set! What a great job...and I think that snow can look bluish when it's cold enough! Or maybe that is just the reflection from my blue lips when it's freezing??? Jan

Actually, snow will often be blue as it reflects the overhead sky color. Note particularly watercolorists depictions of snow. They will use many colors in the reflections. Love the use of the colors in this rendition
