Thought I'd experiment with different mediums today. This image was first watercolored using Tombow pens on watercolor paper. Then I went over it with Copics. I like the result. I had to be careful not to let the Copics touch the black stamped areas for when it did they bled. I tried to cover my mistakes! I like the result enough to do it again.
I found these tiny jingle bells in a dollar store yesterday, and I thought PERFECT for Christmas cards. So this card makes music when you pick it up, which I thought was rather apropro, given what Choppers is holding in his hand!
The gigerbread border stamp was stamped twice and colored with gel pens. I love how the brown cs makes it look like real cookie color!
The striped paper was also from the dollar store and is by Sandy Lion.
Main image panel is raised on double sided foam tape from the hardware store.
All stamps by High Hopes Stamps.
TFL!
