I made this for today's colour challenge. riding hood red, basic grey and always artichoke.
House mouse image stamped with stazon jet black on white card stock. Coloured with prismacolor pencil crayons and gamsol. I versamarked the bulbs and applied clear embossing powder to give them a shine. I stamped over the image with the canvas bg stamp with versa mark ink and heat set. matted with black and stitched around edges. Main card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 riding hood red. next is black then a textured green (non su). stitched around edges. The striped diagonal panel is basic grey - figgy pudding - tinsel - very close colours to riding hood and artichoke. I made the rectangle panels with black, grey and red. stamped with itty bitty background (chocolate chip) then over stamped with canvas bg in versamark - I wanted it to imitate the green textured panel. stitched around edges. added the green ribbon.
