First off, I would like to thank everyone who gave me their thoughts and prayers in reguards to the major problems I was/am having with my neck and shoulders. I do believe the good Lord has heard them!! Last week, I had started my PT/OT in preparations for possible neck surgery. Well, my first visit with my therapist went quite well. He informed me he didn't think it was as much of my neck that was the problem as it was a major pinched nerve in my upper back that was really causing all the problems. He did a few thing to my upper back around my T4 and T5 vertabraes, and I'll be dogged if the pain in my back actually subsided. It did it only for a little while, but that was awesome considering I have had three months of pain with no relief. He told me it confirmed what he thought, and said my muscles around my spinal cord were very weak and not supporting me causing the pinched nerves and pain to happen. I am being given excercises to do to help strengthen my muscles, and even though I am still in some pain, it is so much better. I have been told that with 4-6 weeks of therapy, I should be back to normal and not have to have any surgery!! Now, mind you, my neck is some of the problems, but with my therapy and exercises it to should heal and be back to normal too. With that all said, THANK YOU again for all of your thoughts and prayers!!!
Now, as for the card...
This is for yesterday's Color Challenge 182 where we were to use monochromatic colors. I chose purples. Elegant Eggplant, Lavender Lace, and Pale Plum. For my top BG and my flowers, I use the Tapestry Technique with all three colors. For the bottom BG, I used the Negative Effect on the cuttlebug using Pale Plum. I cut out, put purple crystal brads in, and demensionalized the flowers.
This is also for today's Sketch Challenge 192.
Well, given the novel I just wrote, what do you think about the card?? LOL
