Today's sketch challenge ROCKS...way to go, Wendybell's girl!
I also played along with the Dirty Dozen and Alumni challenge issued by Jen Del Muro in honor of her 30th b-day...happy birthday, Jen!
Finally, this is my sweet daughter's birthday card. She turns 8 on Friday....boo hoo...my baby is growing up. Sometimes, I look at her and just want to freeze time forever. Instead, I will make it my life's mission to savor every moment we've got!
I used Flourishes new Summer Blossoms stamp set on this card, just love those gorgeous flowers! I found the paper in the clearance section at Target for a STEAL, and just knew it would be perfect for little girl cards. I colored the chipboard '8' with some Celery Craft ink, then added Crystal Effects and SU's clear Chunky Glitter for some extra sparkle. The fun sheer polka dot ribbon came from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. The flowers are all covered in Stickles. Abbi loves all things sparkly; so I made sure there was plenty of sparkle on this card! So glad I got to play today!
