Hi! This card was made for todayÂ’s Sketch Challenge.
Since Olivia and Oscar the Owl are currently awaiting the arrival of their egglets, Oscar wanted to give Olivia a Mother’s Day card. Isn’t he romantic? I just love it when a guy “gets it!” Don’t you?
The images were stamped twice and colored in with StampinÂ’ Up! markers. (It appears that I may be channeling StampOwl, as I believe she has made a bluish owl, too! LOL)
The feature and several flowers were cut out and layered with dimensionals.
I added dots to the eggs. (Hey, I ALMOST added them to Olivia the Owl! However, Speedy the Cat said that she might look a bit like she had the CHICKEN pox and that would have been a FOWL thing to deal with while waiting for the egglets to hatch! LOL!
(That Speedy the Cat, heÂ’s soooooo puny!)
The sentiment was cut apart and stamped separately, so that it would fit in the Hodge Podge Hardware. (The HPH was colored with a Sharpie and dots were added with a Signo Pen.)

Your blue owl is a beautiful hoot!!! Hope she hasn't got night sickness!! You have such a style Faith. How many tins of Hodgepodge have you gone thru!!! You don't really have to answer that...

Whoa! This is one fabulous card. I'm in awe. Love the idea of the owl with the eggs for a Mother's Day card, especially for a new mom to be. Very creative and artistic.

Oh, so very cute! Great card for the new parents. Super colors and coloring and, of course, the dots really make it special.
