Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: Ric Rac...
Okay....Ric Rac...Hmmmm....Do I own Ric Rac? Didn't I give it all away? I walked into my bed room and lay on my bed for inspiration...I already had this Gina K. Designs stamp in mind, but what about ric rac?
Then, Speedy the Cat ran into my room and jumped up onto the HUGE pile of "giving to Goodwill clothes" heaped in the corner....He dug around for a moment, stopped for a bath, and then dug some more. He finally reached the BOTTOM of the heap and yanked out the UGLIEST jumper I have ever seen...(It was given to me during my teaching years...It still had the TAGS on it! LOL!) I looked at it and there on the bodice was artichoke ric rac!LOL! Speedy the Cat to the rescue, AGAIN! I swear, I wouldn't tell you this, (because I wouldn't even believe it!), but MARKIE and the dirty kids from down the street were there watching "Cars" again with the cats and saw the entire thing! I picked up Speedy the Cat and hugged him 'til he hissed!LOL!
I used a seam ripper and "cut" the ric rac off the jumper...This took about 45 minutes because I couldn't find the seam ripper....How in the world did it get in the DISH WASHER????
So, I teamed the ric rac with some lace and loopy ribbon!
Sara the Screech Owl was stamped 3 times onto Very Vanilla. I colored various areas with markers and cut them out. I layered the cut-outs with dimensionals.
The layers are heavily sponged with Classic Inks.
The Hodge Podge Hardware was colored with a Sharpie.

Speechless in Spokane (only miles from Seattle)! Your work is what I look for first.....But I can't find the HPHardware. I was supposed to go to the eye doc 5 years ago and haven't yet. Will soon. Geri....who has not had time to play recently....with 7 adult kids and almost 19 g-kids!

love the trim you used on this card, and also your cat story again and how you found this trim. I'm beginning to think your cats are psychic or something. ha-ha.
