My great niece is a "tween." She LOVES to play with Barbies with her younger cousins, and is very sweet. However, she doesn't share that information with her friends....I decided to make this "grown up on the outside" tin for her!
The butterfly is a Shapeabilities die from Spellbinders. After it was cut and embossed, I rubbed an Always Artichoke pad over the embossed areas and then sponged on Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose and Rose Red along the bottom. I sponged on Certainly Celery at the top. The tips of the wings and open section at the top were sponged with Orchid Opulence. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the wings! The sky was sponged in.
Ink: Noir Black Palette Ink, Always Artichoke rubbed on the embossed butterfly sponging: Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red

What pretty colors! Great idea, too, for the paper dolls in an 'undercover' tin! I was really, really glad I had a sister six years younger so I could justify playing with dolls ('I'm playing with my sister...') long after my friends had outgrown them...
