Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Orchid Opulence, Pumpkin Pie and Certainly Celery.
Well, I can tell you, there is a GARBAGE CAN full of Pumpkin Pie/Certainly Celery/Orchid Opulence mishaps sitting in my office....This card was a trial for me. I had a light and airly lily, a cute hippo, butterflies in various patterns and countless flowers just heaped into the trash pile in frustration!LOL!
(Okay, so I'm having a very stressful morning!LOL)
So, please forgive me the excessive Basic Black...Neutrals are allowed, and the black really saved this card, trust me!
The focal images were embossed in black. I used Stampin' Up! markers in Pumpkin Pie, Orchid Opulence and Certainly Celery to color the flowers. To get a darker edge, I just went over the areas several times with the same marker.
The center of the large flower is a Jumbo eyelet, I colored it with a Sharpie and then added dots with the Signo Pen. (I did the same thing to the HodgePodge hardware!)

This card is rich and elegant in every way! What a lot of work it must have been, not even counting it's *hippo* and *butterfly* predecessors! I really am inspired by your beautiful work. Geri
