Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Big SCARE a few minutes ago, Markie and Speedy the Cat hit the floor after rolling out of the top bunk! "Oh, JOY!" I heard Markie scream sarcasticly as he gathered up his blankets and stuffed Koalas. At least he and Speedy the Cat are okay, if not a bit ruffled! LOL
And, since I was struggling to find a sentiment for this card, well...YOU know where my thought processes led me! LOL!
The main image (pomegranates) was stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid ink onto Watercolor paper. I colored in the image with markers and used an aqua painter to blend the colors. Then, I cut it out the image.
The background was made with a reverse mask and LOTS of sponging! I wanted to stay as true to the sketch as possible-that's why I didn't have an oval layer.

Gorgeous and true to the sketch, Faith. Love your spotlight for the ultradimensional effect you've created for your pomegranites, and OH, JOY, I love how you can work so quickly with life's little moments and turn them into amazing works of art!

Love your card and all the little stories that go along with them! What a sweet little fella to yell "oh, Joy"... I would have chosen something a little stronger!
