Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: White Gel Pens.... Participants were to use White Gel Pens in NEW ways to them....Okay....LOL!
I had a sneaky suspicion this one was coming...I just knew it! LOL! Speedy the Cat kept dumping my Inkssentials pens onto the floor this morning! LOL!
So....A few days ago I designed a card VERY similar to this card for a Chat Challenge! So, I decided to CASE myself! LOL!
I stamped the Vine image onto a piece of Designer paper by Memory Box- ****The butterflies and a VERY faint image of a vine were designs on the dp! I colored in the vine, added some color to the butterfly, and then added WHITE gel pen dots to the butterfly and the flower!
Next, I stamped the bird image in VersaMark and embossed it in Copper Embossing powder and cut it out. The metal photo corner was inked with VersaMark and then dipped into the same embossing powder. I used tweezers to HOLD the photo corner while I heated it! Then, I rubbed basic Black ink onto it to "age" it.
The True Thyme layer was staped tone on tone with Damask.

It's positively stunning!!!! I love how you did the corner, and the bird, and the butterfly.... all of it! What kind of gel pens do you use and where do you get them????
