I love this new set from Gina K Designs! I have a dear friend who's been undergoing a lot of tests lately, and the outcome is not looking good. So, I thought I'd send her a bright, cheerful card to let her know I'm thinking of her. This was the perfect sketch for these flowers! Thanks Roxie!
The "brads" are really just 1/8" circles punched from Pacific Point card stock, and covered in Crystal Effects. The flower centers are covered in Stickles for a little sparkle.
I made a mask for the flowers, and then went to town adding more. Would you believe I watercolored the flowers and THEN the background?! What a ninny! That was sooo not fun to try and get in between all those petals without making them bleed into the background...ugh! Some days...

What a great card. I'm not typically drawn to the bright, but this ones colors look so great together, it instantly drew my eye. Gorgeous coloring, for sure!

You are so right! Bright it is! But also so cheerful for your friend, who really needs that! I love the brads separated by the sentiment, and the double ribbon!
