Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Flap Cards.
I love this type of card, and make them a bit larger than the tutorial... I make them 11" x 4 1/4". I used the largest end of the coluzzle to make the half circle top and then scored at 4 1/4" and at 9".
This ends up as a 4 1/4" x 4 3/4" card. (I can mail it in a standard envelope or a square envelope!
The flower was made with Stampin' Up!'s small oval and 1" circle punches. I sponged the egdes heavily and added dots with a SU! Journaler.
Lillian the Ladybug was made with the 3/4"and the 1/2" circl punches. Her dots were made with a Signo Pen and then outlined with the SU! Journaler.
I figured out that by adding dots to the scallops I could get the look of flower petals! I love it!
The outer background edges were stamped in Basic Black with the small swirl from Priceless. I added Signo Pen dots.
The HodgePodge Hardware was colored with a Sharpie and attached with Rhinestone Brads.
We had more discouraging news yesterday regarding my mother's condition, so I will need TONS of thank you cards in the upcoming months. I made this card for one of my mother's wonderful nurses.

Just Lovely Faith. Love the extra dots on the scallop to make a flower, how clever, very pretty. And I love ladybugs so I'm loving it even more. Prayers today and always...tfs

So sorry your mom is not doing well; hopefully all the cards she'll be getting soon will boost her morale and perk her up. Your cards continue to amaze; you put such wonderful detail in them. This is another beauty.

Yea! You're back! What do I think? You know what I think - it's lovely, of course. And I love to see the Faith dotting all over it. It gives that special Faith touch. Beautiful.
