Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Ready for Fall? Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and River Rock.
I have a friend who is really just about the sweetest person you could ever know. She will say things like, "Oh, isn't this sidewalk ever so charming?" (Right after I broke off my heal in the enormous crack that also had cigarette butts and candy wrappers stuck in it!) Or, "Isn't it so charming? The garbage men only spilled half the garbage onto the street." (Yeah! I got to clean up that mess!) Or, when she pointed out, "Oh, those little boys playing with the dog and trying to light it's tail on fire, are just so charming." (I of course, wound my window down and screamed like a crazy person at the children!!! Now we are a 3 dog family...)
What's funny is she's SERIOUS! She really can find good in EVERYTHING! and....Charming is her favorite word! This card is for her!
The background was stamped multiple times and off-stamped in Chocolate Chip. I used a Signo Pen to highlight some of the buds.
Paper: River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, VersaMark (for embossing the butterfly)
Accessories: SU! Markers, Blender Pen(for River Rock color in the butterfly), Signo Pen, punches, HPH, brads, dimensionals, VersaMark Pad, embossing powder, non-SU!: ribbon

Stunning! A perfect use of that flower stamp. Love how you have double up on the flower and the butterfly on the main panel and then on the focal point. A true masterpiece! Your friend will love it, I'm sure, and may have to change her word from charming to glorious

You ha ve such a fun style, Faith. for example--I love how you used multiple circles on top of the hp. Or the two different techniques for the butterflies--I would never think to do either of those things. It's things like these that make you style so unique and wonderful. And the LAYERS!!! You rock!
