This is my card for a challenge with a small group of SCS friends. This is my story!
1. We were to make a card with snowflakes and mail it to Stamp Owl (Frances) in Austrailia because Frances has never seen snow. Or maybe she has but she says she hasn't just to get seven snowflake cards!
2. We required to use these items:
Winter domino - check.
Dotted Swiss Paper - check.
Polka Dotted Ribbon - check.
Punched White Snowflake/white brad - check.
3. Now before I get 7 pms telling me I cheated, when I sent out the instructions I did not say that you could not take the white brad out and move it to another location which is what I did. Also please note that one of the snowflakes is not punched out of the dotted swiss. That is the required snowflake, so don't be sending me you cheated pms!
4. Had a little scare this morning. As usual, I put off making this until the morning of the day it had to be posted. My photographer (hubby) said the camera died, batteries dead, no picture today!
5. This is major for me, everyone in our group will think I am cheating again, didn't get my card done and am just looking to get another day to finish!
6. I tore this house apart and found 4 batteries that worked. My husband watched in utter disbelief!
Note to self: Buy lots of back-up batteries.

Wowza is right! What a stunner and the snowflake is phenomenal! Here's my story: After I read your recipe, I'm thinking to myself: what safety pins and where's that snowflake brad. Then I thought, well maybe she used safety pins to attach that gorgeous pin (as in jewelry) to the card. Now I have to find the brad. And then, I found it! It's in the center of the most incredible snowflake motif made out of beads and safety pins! Cindy your creativity is amazing!

Wonderful snowflake card!! Boy - this card was just full of rules for you all!! I can just see you putting all those beads on the pins - humming a little tune - as you FRANTICALLY try to get your card done by the deadline LOL!!! and THEN you had to find batteries!!! I wish I was a fly on your wall that morning!
Love all the white and the silver brads in the punched flakes - this card definately gives you the feeling of cold snow!!
