I had some leftover *faux wood* from my other card, so I thought I'd find another way to use it. So this is another card for the Faux Wood Challenge, TLC91. I cut the *boards* into strips and rolled them into logs. Sentiment is done on a strip of the faux wood, too. Many, many thanks go to Kittie747 for her fantastic cards using snow, trees, and the little truck from LOL, and the great instructions. You are quite an inspiration!
I used the snowman punch to make the *logging crew* piled into the back of the truck. The logs are piled into the trailer, and Liquid Applique makes the dimensional snow. The lighter snow is *Snowy EP* from Stamp LaJolla. I applied this after sponging on White Craft Ink. Everything is popped up on double Dimensionals. Four different stamps and inks are used to make up the greens at the top, and everything is *dusted* with snow.
Thanks for looking!
Maddy

OMG, Maddy! What a fantastic cut-away card! Those logs are pure genius at work - this whole card is! I love all the different snow effects. Another dimensional masterpiece! TFS. Linda

There is so much to love about this card... I go to type something but keep scrolling back up just to look at it again. Where to begin?? Well I guess I'll start with the cutout oval with the branches and darling snowman extending into it. I LOVE that. The fabulous wood/logs.. what a creative and wonderful idea. I think your sentiment on that old snowy sign is so cute as are the snowmen in the truck... And speaking of the truck, your coloring is awesome. The snow accumulation is perfect. This card has so many special touches and details. My mother used to collect antique cards and framed several of them. It reminds me of one that she would have had hanging on the wall!! It really is a fantastic card.
