This is a cake made out of card stock. It's made up of 12 slices and each slice is a little "box". I used them as party favors at my daughters birthday. I stuffed them with candy and a thank you note for coming to the party. I used white card stock and chalked it pink. I used a heart punch to make the flowers and a spiral punch for the decorative "icing". The candles I did freehand and used hearts cut in half for the flames. Tied them all together with ribbon. The pattern can be found at www.victorineoriginals.com Click on patterns, then on 3D templates.

This is beautiful and such a great idea. Thanks for sharing and for including the link for the template. I made one for my grandmother's 82 birthday and she loved it! Thanks again!!
I LOVE THIS IDEA. My son proposed to his girlfriend yesterday and I would love to make one of these for the bridal shower (whenever the date is set). But I could use some input on what color to use as the base CS. I am sure that I will be using LOTS of glitter, so Please help me decide...
1. white
2. Very Vanilla
3. Natural white
4. Confetti white
5. Shimmery White
This is a big event for my family. My son had a battle with cancer when he was 13. He is also in the armed services and has served two terms in Iraq and possibly a third.
SO, any advise that you offer is deeply APPRECIATED!!
