Wow, this was fun! Julie gave us a fabulous color inspiration site this week for IC639. I found THIS photo and palette and fell in love!
I actually colored a different kitty first. My friend Janine gave me the cutest kitty image and I messed it up. I tend to do that the first time I color an image.
My next thought was the Sitting Here stamp set with a kitty that matches the photo inspiration but I used it just a couple of weeks ago for an IC challenge so I wasn't sure I wanted to feature it again so soon. I couldn't resist that cute kitty though so I pulled out the set. This time I decided to add a tree branch at the top of the swing. I pulled out the Beautiful Bouquet set and stamped blue flowers. I looked it up on the internet and I did find a blue flowering tree. The Blue Jacaranda. Most of the photos were more purplish but there were a couple that looked very blue.
I had a wonderful time looking at the gorgeous color combos on this site! I hope you will join us!

Angie...I LOVE IT! I missed this in the gallery when it came out just before my knee surgery! The photo just does NOT do it justice! The stamped off tree flowers are so pretty under the bolder ones. The blues are beautiful and the little pillows and the kitty are popped up to give it great dimension. Love the sentiment...so sweet!
And, yes, I am doing much, much better. My PT fellow says my knees have now caught up with one another as my recent knee recovered much faster than my left that I had done last year in April. So now, they are getting stronger together. They bark when I try IKEA or WalMart/ Costco for five hours, but they recover much faster. Balance still not good and stairs not great (and I have a 2-story house), but I'm coming along.
